Season Structure
6 race dates scheduled
Best 5 races count toward the final championship (your worst finish is automatically dropped)
Must compete in at least 4 races to be eligible for season-end trophies/awards.
Classes (separate championships)
Box Stock
Other classes to be added if 3 or more entries are present.
Drivers may enter both classes on the same night and earn points in both championships using the same name.
Qualifying
Format
Three qualifying runs (Q1,Q2, Q3)
A 4th qualifier (Q4) may be added depending on entries and time constraints
Q1 & Q2: 5 minutes with 1-minute warm-up
All qualifying rounds use IFMAR style (drivers called individually, on their own clock)
Grid organization
Sorting for Q1: Random sorting for Q1
Q2+: Resorted by best laps and time from all qualifiers to that point
One racer's minute allowed per race if needed (maximum 1 minute, track closed during this time)
Final qualifying position based on best single qualifying run (Rocket Round)

A-mains

Lower mains
6 minutes
Max 10 Drivers each
Top 2 finishers bump up to A main
(Overall finish of mains)
1st → 100 points
2nd → 99 points
3rd → 98 points
4th → 97 points …and so on (−1 point per position, all the way down)
Bonus Points (A-Main only)
+1 point → Top Qualifier (TQ) of the class
+1 point → Driver with the single fastest lap time in the A-Main
(A driver can earn both bonuses in the same race → maximum 102 points possible)

Most 1st-place finishes
Most 2nd-place finishes
Most 3rd-place finishes
Highest total points before drops
Head-to-head results during the season
Data Entry & Transparency
Official results and current standings are maintained in a publicly accesible google sheet (visible on the NIMRC website)
Results become final 48 hours after posting unless a scoring error is reported
General Rules
All cars must pass tech inspection before the first qualifier
Standard club rules for body shells, tires, motors, batteries, etc. apply (see separate tech sheet)
Good sportsmanship is mandatory – unsportsmanlike conduct may result in loss of points for that event
Anyone caught cheating will automatically forfeit any earned points for that days race and may be subject to ejection from the points series. Subject to club officer discretion.
