RCP Track
RCP Track
We race on a 50cm RCP track. RCP tracks consist of interlocking EVA foam tiles (basically anti-fatigue mats manufactured with precise tolerances). The layout can change from one event, but generally we aim to run a large-scale track with at least one full-length straight and several 3-wide sections.
Thanks to lending by fellow club members, we have access to many 50 cm and 30 cm track components.

Our Timing System
What's a timing system? Well, it's how we keep track of who's leading the pack! For timing hardware, our club uses an infrared-based timing system produced by EasyLaps. Each racer's car must be equipped with a transponder - all of our loaner cars include one.
For timing software, our club leverages Next Level Timing. NLT is an awesome technology. If you've never used it before and want to learn more, you should check out their site! https://nextleveltiming.com/
